IN the latest report by global research company RECMA, Dentsu Aegis Network has been named 2017’s top new business performer in media.
The three media agencies in the Dentsu Aegis Network group, namely Carat, dentsu X and Vizeum, whose collective new business successes have contributed to this achievement.
Dentsu Aegis Network’s media agencies have chalked up a wins-versus-losses balance of US$1.5bil, representing a US$3bil gap between them and the weakest performer, according to the report.
Commenting on the report’s ranking, Nicky Lim, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Malaysia said in a statement that it was indeed “fantastic news to cap the year”.
“This also gives us great momentum riding into 2018. Our market leading position today is a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of our network’s collaborative ‘one P&L per country’ operating structure.
“Close collaboration and understanding between our network brands is critical in how we grow our clients across the business,” Lim added.
Founded in June 1991, RECMA is the only independent company to publish a wide range of media agency notation reports on a global scale.
RECMA collects and analyses data from more than 1,400 media agencies in 90 countries.
