Flash floods hit Betong in southern Sarawak – Nation


BETONG: Heavy rain inundated Betong town and surrounding villages in the district in southern Sarawak.  

The State Fire and Rescue Department said in its latest updates that the downpour started at about 6pm on Monday (Sept 10), resulting in flash floods.  

Bomba Betong station has deployed its personnel to the ground to check on the safety of residents.  

So far, there are no evacuations.
