IGNITE your taste buds with the mouth-watering favourites at Ixora Hotel Penang’s Kampung Ku Buffet Dinner.
Meticulously prepared by chef Meor Abdul Razak Meor Amri and his team, the lavish spread of some 100 types of dishes is bound to satiate diverse palates.

At The Straits Cafe, variety is the order of the day with four rotational menus.
Enjoy an authentic Kampung Ku experience with the sumptuous selection of salads, soups, hot dishes, action stalls and desserts.
To whet appetites are an assortment of ulam-ulaman, kerabu, jeruk buah-buahan and keropok. Soup is a choice of sup kambing berempah, sup tomyam lautan or sup ekor ala kampung.
Bursting with flavours are mains such as ayam kuzi berempah dengan kismis, gulai ikan keli timun muda tumis darat, kupang masam manis, daging masak shamah, patin masak cuka cili padi, gulai udang rebung, siput lala cincaluk, and ayam panggang percik sos pandan.
Divinely delicious are the signature kambing panggang golek, ikan bakar, kebab, pasembur, Penang assam laksa, char koay teow and bihun sup utara, to name a few, all prepared a la minute at the action stalls.
Equally scrumptious are the extensive dessert offerings comprising jellies, puddings, eight types of festive cookies, fruit cocktail, ice cream, ais kacang, cendol, 16 types of kuih-muih, kurma and fresh fruits.
Over at the Baba & Nyonya Hall, the spread may be slightly smaller but is nonetheless big and hearty in flavours.
There are also four rotational menus featuring most of the signature creations.
Noteworthy dishes include sambal tumis telur, gulai daging kerisik kampung, siput lala goreng sos tiram daun bawang, kacang panjang goreng udang kering, sotong sambal kacang, and daging rendang tok.
